Description

Overview of Responsibilities
· Design, build, test, and implement new technologies designed to enhance the end-user experience and deliver operational efficiencies.
· Serve as the Lead Analyst responsible for the administration of MS InTune MDM tool.
· Assist the Senior Deployment Analyst with packaging and deploying software as required.
· Oversee complex desktop environment processes and assure build configuration baselines are being maintained according to defined procedures.
· Develop and maintain operational governance systems which ensure compliance to approved configurations and design documents via Advanced Group Policy Manager.
· Lead or participate in special projects involving software distribution or complex desktop infrastructure services including the provision of analysis and estimates for budget purposes.
· Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders in the fulfilling of all operational or project related responsibilities.
· Capture, document and improve system performance benchmarks.
· Report on and audit of enterprise desktop infrastructure to ensure conformity to configuration standards including the tracking of hardware and software assets.
· Mentor desktop analysts in the support of desktop infrastructure and the introduction of new technologies.
· Provide excellent customer support for desktop computing infrastructure as needed.
· Produce technical documentation such as procedures and best practices.
· Other duties which may arise from time to time.
· Work early or late shifts on occasion as required and provide 7/24 on-call pager support. Some occasional travel may be required.

Competencies and Qualifications
· University Degree in IT, or Community College Computer Technology Certificate or 5 years related job experience with a commitment to secure designated education and training.
· Superior knowledge and demonstrated technical proficiency with Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server operating systems are required to meet job responsibilities.
· Administrative experience with MS Exchange 2013 or higher will be preferred.
· Administrative experience with Microsoft’s Advanced Group Policy Manager, GPO and PowerShell scripting are preferred.
· Proficiency with Office 365 and MS CRM Online administration is also a plus.
· Experience with Microsoft Systems Centre product suite are also required. Specifically SCCM and InTune.
· A unique blend of technical skills required to fulfill the job responsibilities of the role and to collaborate effectively with software development and technical resources at a peer level. These skills include, but are not limited to, messaging/collaboration tools, network technologies including identity and access management services, LDAP and AD roles and services are a must.
· Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
· Exceptional customer service skills and the proven ability to coach and mentor others.
· Strong communication and technical writing skills.
· Must possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
