We are seeking an individual to serve as a Supervisor, IT Client Support in our Windsor office.Reporting to the Manager, IT Business Analysis, the Supervisor, IT Client Support will be responsible for managing the IT Services required for the onboarding of new business as well as the ongoing support of client integration activities for Group, Individual and Third Party customer’s.


OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage the client request management processes as it relates to reporting and client integration activities to ensure priority items are addressed and service levels are being met in fast pace work environment.
• Understand Client Support requirements for Group, Individual and Third Party market segments and establish effective relationships with each business area to provide the necessary pre and post sales activities that are required to support a growing business.
• Effectively allocate resources to meet the demands of the business.
• Works directly with external partners/clients and internal GSC business stakeholders to represent the IT department on client integration activities.
• Define and manage the deliverables, timelines and resources required to support the IT related Client Onboarding processes and ensure that milestones are met by anticipating issues, managing resources and risks.
• Responsible for training, development and coaching of Client Support team. Encourage and develop reports in an effort to advance their technical expertise and business acumen.
• Work with Delivery Services Management to secure development and testing resource allocation for client onboarding and support.
• Develop the capabilities of individuals and ensure consistent processes are implemented throughout the team.
• Drive best practices and continuous improvement in the Client Support area.
• Foster a climate that supports relationship building and collaboration with other IT teams and throughout the business, which results in improved alignment and innovation.

COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• University degree or college diploma in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience in Enterprise IT environments.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience managing and/or leading teams.
• Must have strong business acumen skills to facilitate the setting of business priorities.
• Experienced in planning activities for multiple priority deliverables, based on a high level understanding of business needs, including the ability to define appropriate decomposition of work items from inception to completion.
• Demonstrated experience leading and facilitating client facing integration activities.
• Demonstrated leadership experience to motivate, build, develop and lead effective teams in a collaborative and engaging environment to achieve results.
• Highly developed planning, organizing and negotiating skills; can manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and respond to changing priorities.
• Experience identifying and implementing continuous process improvements in IT support activities. .
• Clear and effective written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate to all levels of internal and external clients, and stakeholders.
• An accomplished facilitator with excellent interpersonal and communications skills that support working effectively and collaboratively in multi-disciplinary and multiple location team environments.
• Ability to organize, plan, and manage the team’s schedule to meet tight deadlines and deliver commitments on schedule, while adapting to changing demands and priorities.
• Good working knowledge of key GSC system components, its integration with systems and the impacts on business units would be considered an asset.
• Bilingual French/English would be considered an asset.
