We are seeking an individual to serve as a Senior Security Analyst in our Windsor or Toronto office.

The Senior Security Analyst is a cybersecurity subject matter expert that is responsible for analyzing and identifying threats and vulnerabilities to GSC’s systems and networks. This position works with the business and IT professionals to define security requirements, designs, controls, and standards in order to maintain the confidentiality and integrity of all enterprise information systems.
This position report to the Manager, Information Security.

Overview of Responsibilities
· Advise, analyze, and investigate cybersecurity, threats, vulnerabilities, and security incidents. Participate and assist in incident response and forensics activities.
· Advise the business as a subject matter expert on policies, procedures, standards, and controls regarding cyber security, information security.
· Conduct regular review of the Information Security Policy including; identify gaps, and recommend corrective measures.
· Advise the business on access review requests, segregation of duties and controls.
· Research, monitor, and analyze security related news and bulletins in relation to the potential impact to GSC.
· Assist in the development of business cases, vision, and detail requirements for security related technologies.
· Coordinate Internal and external vulnerability scans, audits, and testing. Participate in the review of findings and drafting responses
· Conduct Third Party Service Provider Security, Privacy and Technical reviews and audits.
· Responsible for coordination and oversight of Release Implementation processes.
· Participate in the development of all Security Awareness training.
· Participate in security audits and preparing response to RFI’s and RFP’s on security related issues and maintain security metrics.

Competencies and Qualifications
· University Computer Science Degree or College Diploma in the field of Information Technology.
· CISSP, CISM or equivalent security certification.
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in analyzing business problems, defining conceptual and detailed security requirements for enterprise applications and information technology.
· Extensive theoretical and technical knowledge of computer security, application defense strategies, application level security, system and network configuration and security, and identity and authentication strategies and technologies.
· Knowledge of various software development life cycle processes.
· Experience in analyzing and testing threats and vulnerabilities.
· Experience in the research and development of security related standards, policies, and procedures.
· Clear and effective written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate to all levels of internal and external customers including Auditors.
· Proven analytical abilities, problem solving skills and able to work at an abstract level.
· Expert computer skills (MS Office, Visio).
· Experience with security tools; Identity Lifecycle Management, authentication technologies, and network monitoring would be considered asset.
-Bilingual French/English would be considered an asset.
