Description

CenterLine (Windsor) Limited is looking for an employee oriented, self-motivated, reliable individual to fill the position of HR Generalist responsible for supporting Divisional Managers and employees in a fast paced organization. Duties consist of maintaining strong employee relations, compensation and benefits administration, while supporting the recruitment process. This position reports into the Vice President of Human Resources.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Post and advertise open positions
• Assist in the entry level, technical and professional recruitment process. Screen applicants. Perform interviews.
• Prepare offers of employment
• Maintain employee personnel files
• Aid with the development, implementation and maintenance of all policies and procedures. Ensure all policies are up to date and are in accordance with all federal and provincial legislation.
• Administer employee benefit programs with respect to processing forms for the group health insurance plan, pension plan and WSIB claims management.
• Facilitation of return to work programs
• Provide resolution to employee relation issues
• Build and sustain beneficial relationships with employment agencies and educational institutions.
• Lead the orientation training within the organization.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Completion of post secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources
• CHRP designation or working towards CHRP designation preferred
• Minimum 2-3 years experience in human resources role
• Computer knowledge (Excel, Powerpoint) required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
